How do we ensure everyone has the skills and knowledge they need to consider a STEM career?
Welcome to Mission 6!
In Mission 6, students reflect on their Take Flight learning build a project to share their knowledge and skills with others. Everyone starts with a review and reflection of their Take Flight Crew Manual. Students will use their reflections to make a convincing argument for other schools to get funding for a drone program like Take Flight. After this initial challenge, students choose a Challenge option. All options have students curate and share visual and written artifacts assembled during Take Flight and use skills developed during the Take Flight program.
Office Hours (Zoom Link): If you need assistance with the Take Flight Curriculum or you have general questions about the program please join us for monthly virtual office hours from 4:00-5:00 p.m. (EST). Description: Students have learned skills and collected a lot of information and images during Take Flight. In this challenge, they will look back through the work they have done, do a guided reflection, and then make a convincing case on why another school should do this program. Their thoughts may convince the New Hampshire Charitable Foundation to give other schools funds for drone programs!
